The "Green Production" label underpins that sustainability takes centre stage. When we develop new products or optimise existing ones, sustainability always is a top priority in addition to top notch technology. We consider aspects such as weight optimisation, multiple use of parts and environmentally friendly raw materials and packaging.
The focus is on recyclability, reducing transport routes to the place of use and maximising the in-house contribution to the product. As we serve different industries, the production facilities for manufacturing our products are also determined with particular attention to the respective markets and economic areas. When suppliers are selected, they ideally come from a group of regional partners.
In our efforts to improve ecological aspects in our processes, new cross-departmental projects are launched every year: Examples include the automation and handling of processes using AI and digitalisation, energy savings through the transition to LED lighting, and concepts for the optimal heating of office spaces by recovering waste heat from our machinery. This conserves resources and reduces CO2 emissions step by step.
On our way to becoming an energy self-sufficient company, we have remained true to Germany and do not need any "re-globalization". In this way, we can remain flexible even in times of crisis and respond quickly to changing challenges.
