Oil, grease and petrol pose a great hazard to groundwater and waste water. ASA-02 monitors the layer thickness of separated liquid in oil, petrol and grease separators and generates an alarm signal when it is time to drain the separator. With the optional retrofittable overflow probe and the sand/sludge probe, it is possible to detect the maximum permissible level and/or a layer of solids in the separator. This avoids overflows that may be caused by clogged outlets or other circumstances. The unit keeps harmful substances from reaching the sewage water system.
The base system ASA-02 consists of a control unit and a capacitance probe ASA-LP to monitor the layer thickness of oil, petrol or grease layers. The control unit is equipped with 3 configurable relay out puts, visual and audible alarms as well as an acknowledge button. The ASA-LP layer thickness probe is mounted below the constant level of the separator. As soon as the oil, petrol or grease layer reaches the critical level, the device generates an alarm signal. Optionally, the maximum level can also be monitored with the ASA-HLP overflow probe and the sand and sludge deposits with the ASA-SP sand/sludge probe.
