Company Manufacturing & Logistics High level of vertical integration – products made in Germany Our mission statement "Technology for environmental protection" underpins our claim to manufacture technologically advanced products in Germany in a particularly sustainable way. This is based on the highest possible vertical integration: From development to in-house tool and equipment design and construction to plastic injection moulding with state-of-the-art, energy-efficient machines, all competencies are combined in-house and can therefore be directly influenced at any time. Tools and equipment making The core of our flexibility. Development and design of the finished product as well as tool and equipment making are concentrated in a single department and can consequently be optimally aligned with one another. This allows us to create new developments, special designs and customised products rapidly and in a highly cost-effective way. Plastic injection molding A key to adaptability is the in-house plastic injection molding shop with more than 1,300 injection tools. Our machinery is state-of-the-art – also in terms of energy efficiency. OEM and standard products can thus be produced efficiently, demand-oriented and in a wide range of lot sizes. Production A high degree of vertical integration enables maximum flexibility and allows us to optimally meet customer requirements. Variable manufacturing structures allow to efficiently produce a large range of lot sizes. Manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic – in the production of AFRISO quality products we use every opportunity to obtain the best results. All production processes are optimised on an ongoing basis and are subject to all pertinent quality standards. Digitised processes Consistent digitalisation ensures lean, efficient workflows and speeds up daily processes. The SAP ERP system that is used across the entire corporation serves as a basis for this. In conjunction with specifically developed warehouse software, a high-performance and future-oriented system and process environment was created that meets the most modern requirements. Warehouse terminals guide our employees through the logistics centre, and „pick-by-light“ supports order picking. Distribution centre for national and international markets Maximum availability, short delivery times. As a distribution centre, the new building is used to ship AFRISO products all over the world. It operates in dual-shift operation six day a week in order to fully meet the demands of national and international customers in terms of short and reliable delivery times. Our range comprises more than 25,000 products. More than 3,000 of them are on stock; a total of more than 1,600,000 individual devices are available from stock.
